Job summary

DRA Global Limited seeks a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer to join the Brisbane engineering team. The role focuses on leading technical delivery, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.

Responsibilities span studies through commissioning, with emphasis on LV/MV electrical systems, project scope control and stakeholder coordination. Brisbane-based, with integration into a multidisciplinary group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in mineral processing or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities across studies, detailed design and project execution phases
• Review and approve engineering calculations, documentation and design deliverables
• Manage scope, schedule and cost performance for electrical work packages
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to Graduate and Electrical Engineers
• Support proposal development and technical evaluations
• Coordinate client, vendor and multidisciplinary engineering interfaces
• Contribute to commissioning and operational readiness activities
• Promote engineering quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives
