Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join its growing engineering team. You will develop and implement electrical systems across a range of projects, delivering high-quality detailed designs that optimise performance, safety and regulatory compliance.

Working in a multidisciplinary environment, you will collaborate with project stakeholders, conduct load calculations, prepare reports and support the design process through reviews and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 3+ years' experience in detailed electrical design.
• Experience delivering electrical designs for mineral processing projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed design of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, communications, control).
• Apply electrical engineering principles to develop compliant and efficient designs.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Utilise software to perform load calculations and assess protection/co-ordination.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications and documentation.
• Participate in technical reviews to ensure quality assurance and design integrity.
• Review designs for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project budgets and schedules and communicate with stakeholders.
• Attend mandatory training and comply with policies and confidentiality standards.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably required by leadership.
