Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking enthusiastic OSHC educators to join our Darra-Jindalee OSHC team on a casual basis. We provide Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 120 children, working closely with families and the community in Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent.
• Current completion of mandatory National Child Training (Geckko 1-4).
• Hold a Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Passion for education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing, responsive care for children.
• Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
• Plan and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with your team.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
• Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko 1-2 & 3-4).
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
