Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare’s OSHC team in Ipswich is seeking caring professionals to support before/after school and vacation care. You’ll build meaningful relationships with children and families, help deliver play-based experiences, and contribute to a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and inspired to thrive.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or are working toward one), have a Queensland Blue Card, and are committed to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is required.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services, or currently working toward one.
• Willingness to complete National Child Training (Geckko 1-2 & 3-4).
• Passion for working with school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• Experience in OSHC, education, recreation or care is valued but not essential.
• Excellent communication with children, families and colleagues.

Located within the vibrant St Francis Xavier School community, our OSHC service provides Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 90 children. Job Requirements:

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services, or be currently working towards one
• A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko 1-2 & 3-4).
• A genuine passion for working with school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Experience in OSHC, education, recreation or care is highly regarded, but not essential
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• A caring, enthusiastic and team-focused attitude
