Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare’s OSHC program within St Francis Xavier School in Brisbane welcomes you to support After School, Before School, and Vacation Care for up to 90 children. You’ll foster safe, inclusive play-based activities, build strong relationships with children and families, and work with a caring team to deliver enriching experiences.

The role values your passion for children, effective communication, and collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services, or currently working towards one.
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check) in Queensland.
• Mandatory National Child Training completion (Geckko 1-2 & 3-4).
• Genuine passion for working with school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• Experience in OSHC, education, recreation or care is valued but not essential.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Caring, enthusiastic and team-focused attitude.

Located within the vibrant St Francis Xavier School community, our OSHC service provides Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 90 children. Job Requirements

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services, or be currently working towards one
• A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko 1-2 & 3-4).
• A genuine passion for working with school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Experience in OSHC, education, recreation or care is highly regarded, but not essential
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• A caring, enthusiastic and team-focused attitude
