Job summary

Marymount OSHC on the school grounds provides care before and after school and during vacation periods for up to 105 children. As an OSHC Educator you will deliver nurturing, safe, play-based activities and build positive relationships with children, families and your team.

A Diploma or Certificate III in Children’s Services and a valid Blue Card are desirable; strong communication and commitment to quality early education are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards) per ACECQA guidelines desirable but not essential.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• A passion for education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire.
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
