Job summary

St Flannan’s OSHC Zillmere is seeking enthusiastic casual Educators to support before/after school and vacation care for up to 75 children in a warm, play-based service. You’ll work 15–25 hours per week, with opportunities for additional shifts across CEEC’s 130+ services, while embracing a supportive team and family-friendly culture.

You’ll need relevant qualifications, blue card, current first aid and safeguarding certifications, and a passion for helping children learn and grow in a safe

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (ACECQA equivalent) is desirable.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Mandatory Child Protection Geccko Course 1 & 2 (Course 3 & 4 optional).
• A passion for education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• Knowledge of NQF, My Time Our Place or EYLF and National Law/Regulations.
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace.

Join Our Team at St Flannan’s Zillmere OSHC! We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring casual Educators to join our supportive team, working before school, after school, and during vacation care (15–25 hours per week). A valued part of the St Flannan’s community since 2012, our service provides warm, nurturing care for up to 75 children, where kids feel supported to learn, grow, and be happy. Job Requirements:

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — desirable but not essential
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
• A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework, and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
