Catholic Early EdCare is seeking enthusiastic casual OSHC Educators to support before school, after school, and vacation care across multiple shifts. You’ll help care for up to 75 children in a warm, nurturing environment, designing engaging activities and excursions when available.

Applicants should hold or be pursuing a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, with current WWCC and basic certifications. A passion for school-aged care and play-based learning is essential.

Formación

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or ACECQA equivalent (desirable).
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2; Course 3 & 4 optional.
• Passions for education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• Understanding of NQF, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework, and National Law/Regulations.
• Clear oral and written communication.

Join Our Team at St Flannan’s Zillmere OSHC! We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring casual Educators to join our supportive team, working before school, after school, and during vacation care (15–25 hours per week). A valued part of the St Flannan’s community since 2012, our service provides warm, nurturing care for up to 75 children, where kids feel supported to learn, grow, and be happy.

Job Requirements

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — desirable but not essential
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
• A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework, and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
