Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare in Caboolture is seeking casual OSHC Educators to join our team supporting before and after school care and vacation care for up to 135 children. We value nurturing, safety, and inclusive activities.

Ideal applicants have relevant certificates, a blue card and knowledge of NQF and My Time Our Place. Flexible shifts, ongoing opportunities, and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (ACECQA equivalent) or working towards would be desirable.
• Blue Card (Working with Children) is required.
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2; Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded.

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic casual educators to join our team at St Peter's Outside School Hours Care in Caboolture.

St Peter's Outside School Hours Care has been a part of the community since 1990. The OSHC operates from a dedicated space with the school grounds.

At our centre, we provide before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 135 children, fostering a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow.

We are seeking dedicated individuals who love working with primary school-aged children and are committed to supporting their development in a positive and nurturing atmosphere.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator...

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (ACECQA equivalent) or working towards would be desirable.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 - Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
• Some experience in the education and care of children is desirable
• Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
