Job summary

Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane – St Flannan’s Zillmere OSHC is seeking casual Educators to join a caring team for before/after school and vacation care. We support up to 75 children, offering 15–25 hours per week with a welcoming, play-based environment.

Role focuses on nurturing care, safety, and inclusive activities, with opportunities to participate in excursions and help children learn and grow in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
• A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework, and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace

We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring casual Educators to join our supportive team, working before school, after school, and during vacation care (15–25 hours per week).
