Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane is seeking enthusiastic casual Educators to join our team, working before school, after school, and during vacation care at Wavell Heights. You will supervise children, model positive interactions, and build relationships with the local community.

No experience required, but you will undertake required certifications. The role offers flexible casual shifts across CEEC services, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for professional development.

Formación

• Hold (or be working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved Education and Care qualification (preferred but not required).
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded.
• Effective workplace communication skills.

Caring for up to 165 children, our service provides a warm, engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and connect with their community.

A Day in the Life of an Educator…

• Provide safe, caring, and interactive supervision of children

Responsibilities of an Inclusion Support Educator

• Help facilitate the inclusion of children with additional needs, in co-operation with the Teacher/Director and the child's parents
• Help create an inclusive environment that promotes competence, independence, exploration, and learning through play
• Assist in preparing, implementing, and evaluating programs and resources to support the educational needs of the child/ren, consistent with current legislation and frameworks
• Work collaboratively with outside specialists and other support services

Job Requirements:
