Job summary

Goodstart Little Mountain – Gumtree Pocket Court in QLD is seeking an Educator for our Toddler Room in a permanent full-time arrangement. You’ll deliver play-based programs, build close relationships with children and families, and work with Senior Educators to foster curiosity, independence and confidence in young learners.

You’ll be supported by a proactive Educational Leader and receive above-award pay, ongoing PD, and generous parental leave, with opportunities for growth within Goodstart’s

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required or equivalent
• Current Working with Children Check (QLD) required
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geccko platform preferred

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of engaging, play-based programs in the Toddler Room
• Build strong relationships with toddlers and families
• Create safe, inclusive learning environments
• Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in early years
• Collaborate with senior staff and centre leadership to achieve strong outcomes

About The Role

As an Educator in our Toddler Room at Goodstart Little Mountain – Gumtree Pocket Court, you'll play an important role in supporting children through one of the most significant stages of their development.

Working alongside Senior Educators and our Educational Leader, you'll create engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, communication, independence, and confidence while fostering strong emotional connections and a love of learning.

In This Role, You'll

• Support the delivery of engaging, play-based educational programs
• Build strong, meaningful relationships with toddlers and their families
• Create safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments
• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing during their early developmental years
• Work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership to deliver exceptional outcomes

What you'll bring

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Current QLD Working with Children Check
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
