Job summary

Busy Bees at Prahran is seeking an inspiring Educational Leader to mentor educators, drive curriculum quality, and lead continuous improvement across the service. This full-time role offers a salary of $41.72–$43.08 per hour plus the Education Leader Allowance, alongside Uniform and laundry allowances, 50% childcare gap-fee discounts for permanent staff, and ongoing professional development.

• Approved Early Childhood qualification (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQF.
• Experience mentoring educators to deliver high-quality programs.
• Curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice.
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach educators to strengthen teaching practice and program quality.
• Guide implementation of the EYLF across the centre.
• Support educators with curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice.
• Drive continuous improvement aligned with the NQF.
• Lead professional discussions and learning opportunities for the team.
• Work closely with the Centre Director to support quality outcomes for children.
