Job summary

YMCA Brisbane is seeking an enthusiastic Educational Leader to join our Ashgrove OSHC team on a permanent part-time basis. In this role you’ll shape engaging programs that support children’s learning and development outside school hours, guide a team of educators, and ensure every child feels safe, supported and included.

You’ll work with families, schools and community partners to create a strong support network, champion play‑based learning aligned with the latest frameworks, and lead by

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent is desirable.
• Minimum three years’ experience in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Knowledge of the approved learning framework and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation, delivery, and ongoing improvement of inspiring educational programs.
• Guide, motivate, and empower educators to shine in their roles.
• Champion child-centred, play-based learning aligned with frameworks.
• Build a positive, inclusive, collaborative culture among the team.
