Job summary

YMCA Queensland is seeking an Educational Leader to join the Regents Park OSHC team on a permanent part-time basis. You will shape engaging programs, mentor educators, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for every child outside school hours.

You will work with the Leadership Team to deliver high-quality learning experiences, support staff development, and collaborate with families and schools to create strong community connections. Commitment to best practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coach and mentor staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of child development and learning.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education and Care settings.
• Knowledge of the approved learning framework.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR and Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging educational programs for children outside school hours.
• Guide and support educators to reach their full potential.
• Champion child-centred, play-based learning.
