Job summary

Journey Early Learning Dakabin is seeking an Educational Leader to guide educational practice, mentor educators and drive continuous improvement across our 105-place centre. You will lead curriculum development, support EYLF and NQS implementation, and collaborate with the Centre Manager to achieve positive outcomes for children.

This role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent), strong leadership and communication skills, and current

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent.
• Experience as Educational Leader or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and curriculum development.
• Confident mentoring educators and supporting reflective practice.
• Ability to contribute to quality improvement processes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Genuine passion for children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Current Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• National Child Safety (Foundation Module) training, or willingness to complete it.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development and the delivery of engaging educational programs.
• Mentor and coach educators to strengthen their practice.
• Support the implementation of the EYLF and NQS.
• Encourage reflective practice, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
• Collaborate with the Centre Manager and educators to achieve positive outcomes for children.
