Job summary

Day One Early Learning Centres Dakabin is seeking a Studying or Diploma Qualified Lead Educator to join our Dakabin centre. You will lead a classroom, plan educational programs aligned with the EYLF, and mentor peers while building strong relationships with children and families.

You will educate and care for children under 5, and actively communicate with your team and families to foster a positive, stimulating learning environment at our purpose-built centre.

Qualifications

• First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates are required.
• Current Blue Card is required.
• Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS is required.
• Experience and confidence leading a classroom and writing educational programs.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor peers.
• Ability to build strong relationships with children and families.
• Ability to implement stimulating programs and develop a curriculum based on children's interests and the EYLF.
• Ability to observe and record children's learning and contribute to educational portfolios.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Day One ELC is seeking a Studying or Diploma Qualified Lead Educator for our Dakabin centre

The role:

The successful candidate will be actively engaged in educating and caring for children under 5 years of age and effectively communicating with children, your team and families. We are seeking educators with a strong passion for the Early Childhood industry.

Selection Criteria

You must hold:

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates

Current Blue Card

Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

Prior experience and confidence with leading a classroom setting and writing educational programs

Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers

Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families

Ability to Implement stimulating programs, and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF

Ability to observe and record children’s learning and contribute to their educational portfolios

Strong verbal and written communication skills
