Job summary

Cengage Australia & New Zealand is seeking a driven Sales Executive to accelerate growth across universities, VET, libraries and schools. You will develop strong customer relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver consultative sales solutions that help educators and institutions achieve their goals.

As a Sales Executive you will manage renewals, deliver meetings and product demonstrations, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure a superior customer experience in ANZ

Qualifications

• Proven ability to hit or exceed sales targets.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Consultative selling approach to identify customer needs.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage a busy sales portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, TAFEs, schools, libraries and other education customers.
• Identify new business opportunities while managing renewals and expanding existing accounts.
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations and product demonstrations both virtually and in person.
• Understand customer needs and recommend solutions that deliver value and long-term partnerships.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately manage opportunities within Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing and Sales colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Provide sales operations and product support including subscription updates, renewal information, usage reporting and customer records.
