Job summary

JB Hi-Fi Group is seeking a Specialist Technician for Victoria to deliver onsite IT support in schools. You will provide Level 1 and 2 desktop helpdesk, support classroom technologies, and assist with basic server administration.

A mid-advanced IT skill set and a proactive approach to customer service are essential. The role involves travel between sites, a strong focus on problem solving, and collaboration with education teams.

Qualifications

• Experience providing Level 1/2 IT support in schools.
• Strong networking fundamentals (VLAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Experience with classroom technology (projectors, displays, printers).
• Willingness to travel between sites with a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide Service Desk Level 1 and Level 2 support as required.
• Assist school staff and students with technical needs.
• Maintain classroom technology and AV equipment.
• Deploy system images and support server administration basics.
