Liverpool City Council is seeking self-motivated individuals to join our early childhood education team as Trainee Educators. The traineeship provides 1.5 years of combined on‑the‑job learning and formal training to gain a Certificate III, with a pathway to a rewarding career in high-quality services.

The role is a temporary full-time position up to 18 months, 38 hours per week, across five days, with a salary range of $32,666.76 to $51,448.32 plus 12% super.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Early Childhood Educators have a lifelong impact on children and their families! You will be working with a team of exceptional Educators to provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for all children attending the centre.The traineeship is for a period of 1.5 years which will include a blend of workplace learning and formal training to gain a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through the registered training organisation, TAFE NSW. The traineeship gives those wishing to commence a career in Early Childhood Education an opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge in high quality services that Exceed National Quality Standards. You will be able to learn in a supportive workplace ensuring you are equipped with the skills and knowledge to advance in your new career.

ABOUT YOU

To be able to apply for the position you must not already possess a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care or a related discipline. You must be a minimum of 16 years of age (Legislative Requirement). To succeed in this role you should have;
