Liverpool City Council is seeking self-motivated individuals to join our early childhood education team as Trainee Educators. The traineeship provides 1.5 years of combined on‑the‑job learning and formal training to gain a Certificate III, with a pathway to a rewarding career in high-quality services.

The role is a temporary full-time position up to 18 months, 38 hours per week, across five days, with a salary range of $32,666.76 to $51,448.32 plus 12% super.

Qualifications

• Must not already hold a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care or related discipline.
• Must be at least 16 years of age (Legislative requirement).
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team.
• Strong interest in early childhood education.
