Job summary

Brisbane City Council is seeking an experienced E-learning Development Specialist to design, develop and deliver online and blended learning solutions for its staff. You will work with stakeholders across the organisation to analyse needs, create engaging content and evaluate outcomes.

You will use tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, plus photo/video editing to produce high‑quality resources. A strong understanding of LMS platforms and corporate software is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing learning needs analyses and evaluating learning solutions.
• Strong experience building engaging eLearning content with industry tools.
• Experience using photo, video and audio editing software to create high-quality resources.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Learning Management Systems and corporate software applications.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and consulting skills across organisational levels.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver quality outcomes with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver engaging online and blended learning solutions for Council employees.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse needs and evaluate learning effectiveness.
• Develop resources using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and multimedia tools.
• Contribute to LMS reporting and administration, and coordinate training activities.
