Job summary

Lake Macquarie City Council is seeking an eLearning Instructional Design Specialist to design, develop and deliver online learning content and digital capability solutions for a diverse workforce. Working with subject matter experts, you will transform source material into clear, interactive and accessible experiences across professional development, compliance and digital capability.

You will manage a varied portfolio of learning design projects, apply instructional design principles and evolve

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate IV qualification in organisational learning and development or related field.
• Extensive experience designing interactive learning with Articulate 360, Storyline 360, Rise 360, Vyond or Adobe CC.
• Experience publishing online learning for LMS delivery and administering or managing an LMS (Cornerstone desirable).
• Sound knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models and accessible design.
• Able to troubleshoot LMS issues and work with HTML and CSS with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver contemporary online learning content and digital capability solutions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform source material into engaging experiences.
• Manage a varied portfolio of learning design projects and evolve the LMS from storyboard to publishing.
• Publish, test and troubleshoot learning modules ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
