The Victorian Government seeks classroom teachers to plan, prepare and teach programs aimed at achieving specific student outcomes and to engage in reflective practice to improve knowledge and teaching quality.

As experience grows, teachers contribute to school programs beyond the classroom and may take on additional duties aligned with their salary range, qualifications and experience.

Formación

• Knowledge of curriculum including literacy and numeracy teaching.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning impact.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.
• Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other supervisory duties as required.
