Victorian government schools seek a classroom teacher to plan, prepare and teach programs aimed at achieving specific student outcomes. Teachers engage in reflection and inquiry to improve knowledge and practice and may contribute beyond classroom duties.

Range 2 teachers lead school improvements, mentor staff, and use data to drive learning gains while supporting collaboration with families and the wider school community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum including literacy and numeracy integration.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students; deliver planned programs.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school priorities.
• Utilise student data to inform teaching approaches and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Engage with parents, colleagues and the school community to support learning and wellbeing.
