The Victorian Government is seeking qualified classroom teachers to deliver high-quality programs across primary and secondary settings. The role focuses on planning, preparation and teaching to achieve student outcomes and aligns with state priorities.

Range 1 and Range 2 teachers support school programs, mentor colleagues and use data to inform teaching. Applicants should be registered to teach in Victoria and committed to continuous professional learning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in planning high-impact teaching strategies responsive to how students learn.
• Skill in monitoring and assessing student learning and providing feedback to students/parents.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
