Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy effectively.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies guided by how students learn.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with families and the school community.
• Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within the school.
• Undertake non-teaching duties as required by the principal.
• Engage with parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
