  • Ensure guest requests and operational issues are followed through promptly
  • Assist with staff training, performance, shift coordination and operational handovers
  • Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety procedures, relevant licensing requirements and hotel policies
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with senior management regarding guest feedback, incidents and operational matters
  • Take ownership of hotel operations during rostered shifts, escalating matters appropriately when required
About You:
  • Previous experience as a Hotel Duty Manager, Assistant Hotel Manager, Front Office Supervisor or similar operational leadership role is highly regarded
  • Experience in hotel accommodation and front office operations, ideally within a property offering multiple food and beverage and event facilities
  • A strong understanding of the guest journey, from arrival and check-in through to departure
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and guest service skills
  • Confidence handling guest complaints, resolving issues and making sound operational decisions
  • The ability to coordinate multiple departments and competing priorities
  • A hands‑on leadership style, with the ability to motivate, support and develop team members
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement
  • Flexibility to work across a seven‑day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Australian working rights (sponsorship not available for this role)
  • Full‑time opportunity at an established hotel and hospitality destination
  • The opportunity to take ownership of hotel operations and make a meaningful impact on the guest experience
  • Exposure to accommodation, restaurants, bars, gaming and functions under one roof
