Job summary

Belgravia Leisure in Sydney is seeking enthusiastic Duty Managers to coordinate daily facility operations with a strong focus on safety and service quality. You’ll lead a team, communicate clearly with patrons, and ensure a welcoming environment across mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts.

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others.
• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate.
• National Police Check
• Working with Vulnerable People
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Pool Operations Certificate is essential.
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery.
• You will lead and coach the team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• You will communicate effectively with patrons of diverse ages, abilities, cultures and needs and maintain a safe environment.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Duty Managers to join the team. The Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery.

This role requires an individual who is a leader and can keep cool under pressure. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy our visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with patrons that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. You will also be required to work a minimum of 1 Lifeguard shift per week.
