Job summary

Belgravia Leisure in Queensland is seeking enthusiastic, reliable Duty Managers to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our facilities with safety and service at the forefront.

You will lead a team, uphold water safety standards, and deliver outstanding customer service, communicating effectively with a diverse patronage across mornings, evenings and weekends.

Previous leadership experience is valued, and first aid and lifeguard certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-focused facility.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR certification.
• National Police Check clearance.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Pool Operations Certificate is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day facility operations with safety focus.
• Lead and coach staff to deliver high-quality service.

This is a great opportunity for qualified Duty Managers who value water safety and love working with people, to provide leadership and coaching to our team.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendlyDuty Managersto join the team.The Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery.

You will have a passion for safetyaround the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence, to ensureour patrons safely enjoy our visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
• An understanding of WHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Pool Operations Certificate (Highly desirable)

Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
