Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager to coordinate daily operations with a strong focus on safety and service quality. You will lead a team of lifeguards and coaches, ensuring a positive guest experience across mornings, evenings and weekends.

The role requires energetic leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while delivering customer excellence. A minimum of 1 Lifeguard shift per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire others.
• Understanding of OHS and public safety applications in facilities.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR certificate.
• National Police Check and Pool Lifeguard Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the facility with safety and quality of service in mind.
• Lead and coach lifeguard team to ensure top customer experience.
• Communicate effectively with patrons of diverse ages and needs.
• Manage shifts and ensure coverage, including at least 1 Lifeguard shift per week.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Duty Managers to join the team. The Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery.

This role requires an individual who is a leader and can keep cool under pressure. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with patrons that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. You will also be required to work a minimum of 1 Lifeguard shift per week.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others

Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded.
