Job summary

Belgravia Leisure’s Great Lakes Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Forster is hiring a Duty Manager to coordinate daily operations with safety and excellent service at the heart of the guest experience.

We seek a leader who communicates well, keeps calm under pressure and can work mornings, evenings and weekends. You will supervise the team, uphold OHS standards and lead by example while ensuring patrons enjoy a safe visit each time.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire others.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of OHS and public safety applications.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate.
• National Police Check.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Current Pool Operations Certificate is desirable.
• Previous experience in a similar role is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day facility operations with safety and high-quality service delivery.
• Lead and motivate the team while maintaining calm under pressure.
• Communicate effectively with patrons of diverse ages, abilities and backgrounds.
• Work at least one Lifeguard shift per week and support overall swimming facility operations.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Duty Managers t to join the team. The Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery.

This role requires an individual who is a leader and can keep cool under pressure. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy our visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with patrons that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. You will also be required to work a minimum of 1 Lifeguard shift per week.

Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded!
