The Peabody Group is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the night shift at one of its Fortitude Valley venues. You run the shift while the GM handles rosters and admin by day, focusing on floor leadership, service, and sales to target.

You'll run pre-service briefings and the nightly run sheet, manage compliance (RSA, ID scanning, controllers and registers), and work professionally with entertainers. The role offers a fixed 4-night roster (Wed–Sat or Thu–Sun depending), a salary of $80,000 plus

Qualifications

• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval (QLD).
• 2+ years supervising or managing late-night venues.
• Experience with cash handling and end-of-night balancing.
• Ability to enforce policies with staff and patrons.

The Peabody Group operates two long-established, licensed adult entertainment venues in Fortitude Valley – trading since 2012. We're looking for a Duty Manager to lead the night at one of our clubs.

The role

You run the shift. Our General Manager handles the rosters, payroll and admin by day, so your focus is where it should be – on the floor:

Run pre-service, briefings and the nightly run sheet

Lead your team on the floor and drive service and sales to target

Manage compliance: RSA, ID scanning, controllers and registers

Work professionally with our independent entertainers

Close out the night: balancing, reporting and handover

A fixed 4-night roster (e.g. Wed–Sat or Thu–Sun), the same every week – 3 days off

$80,000 + super, plus a weekly booth bonus

Two managers on Fridays and Saturdays, so you're never on your own on the big nights

What you'll need

Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval (QLD)

At least 2 years supervising or managing late-night bars, clubs, hotels or casinos

Confident handling cash, tills and end-of-night balancing

You've led teams of young staff or commission-based people and you don't get played – you hear the excuse, stay polite, and still hold the line

You're comfortable being the person who says no: fees get paid, rosters get met, rules apply to everyone – including the people you like

Available for night work until around 4am

Been out of hospitality for a while, or led people in another industry (casino, security, salon, retail, sales)? If you've managed people who push boundaries, your experience counts.
