Job description

SCM Partners Pty Ltd – Fortitude Valley QLD

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional ready to step into a hands-on leadership role within one of Brisbane's busiest nightlife precincts.

Our client is an established hospitality and entertainment operator with a growing presence across Queensland. Based in the heart of Fortitude Valley, they are looking for experienced Bar Managers to join the leadership team of a high-volume late-night venue.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from the sidelines. You'll be on the floor, leading from the front, supporting your team through busy services, maintaining venue standards, and making sure the operation runs smoothly from open through to close.

The successful candidate will have strong experience within bars, nightclubs, pubs, entertainment venues, or other high-volume hospitality environments and understand exactly what it takes to deliver exceptional service when the venue is at capacity.

You'll take responsibility for bar operations, staff leadership, stock control, compliance, customer experience, and maintaining the energy and standards expected from a leading Fortitude Valley venue.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, know how to lead a team, and genuinely enjoy Brisbane's hospitality and nightlife scene, this could be the opportunity for you.

Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards across all bar areas

Assist with functions, events, activations, and major trading nights

Contribute ideas to improve service, efficiency, customer experience, and venue performance

Take genuine ownership of your shift and lead from the front

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in a Bar Manager, Duty Manager, Supervisor, or senior hospitality position
