Job summary

Albatross Bay Resort in Weipa, Cape York Peninsula, is seeking a Duty Manager to lead daily operations across our bar, restaurant, and accommodation, ensuring flawless guest experiences. You’ll drive service standards, manage staffing, and monitor budgets to keep operations efficient.

You’ll mentor a passionate team, foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and stay compliant with health, safety and licensing regulations while delivering memorable stays for guests.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in hospitality management.
• Current QLD RSA, RSG, RMLV and CLO licenses or ability to obtain.
• Positive attitude in fast-paced, close-knit teams.
• Excellent guest service mindset and strong problem-solving.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• A proven leader with experience in hospitality management.
• Current QLD RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Managers License and CLO (or ability to obtain).
