Job summary

Longreach Tavern in Longreach (Queensland) invites an experienced Duty Manager to lead daily operations across bar, restaurant and accommodation, ensuring guests have an extraordinary experience. This is a key leadership role in a supportive, community-driven venue where your career can grow.

You will mentor staff, manage scheduling and inventory, monitor budgets, and ensure health, safety and licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Mandatory qualifications required to commence: RMLV, Approved Manager’s License, RSA, RSG, CLO Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across bar, restaurant and accommodation with attention to detail.
• Motivate, mentor and develop staff to foster a culture of excellence.
• Be the go-to person for guests, handling inquiries and resolving issues to ensure memorable visits.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues): Required to ensure compliance with licensing regulations.


• Approved Manager’s License: Necessary for managing licensed areas and ensuring legal operation.


• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol): Essential for serving alcohol responsibly and adhering to legal requirements.


• RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling): Required to oversee gambling activities in a responsible manner.


• CLO (Customer Liaison Officer) Certification: Important for handling customer inquiries and complaints effectively, especially in a licensed venue.

Note: If you do not currently hold all of the mandatory qualifications, you will be required to obtain them before commencing.
