Job summary

The Gem Hotel is seeking a Duty Manager to lead a growing, privately owned pub group on the Gold Coast. You will be hands-on in gaming, bistro, and events, setting an example for customer service and coaching the team to perform at their best.

Flexibility with a seven-day roster, mostly night shifts, and a requirement for a Food Safety certificate, RMLV, RSA, and RSG. You must have your own transport and a current driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in gaming room operations and maintenance.
• Compliance with gaming regulations (RCG) and service certification (RSA/RSG).
• Own transport and valid driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• RSA & customer service duties.
• Coach and lead the team; hands-on management.
• Support growth plan and driving daily operations.
• Rotating roster including night shifts.

We are searching for HANDS ON, not office workers, lead by example and coach the team.

Our privately owned pub is experiencing massive growth, we are located at the northern end of the Gold Coast and is looking for the right person to show their flair for customer service, who is friendly and welcoming as well as professional.

The Pub is not a late night 4am finish venue, we offer flexible hours.

Gaming position requires you to be experienced with working in the Gaming room, fixing machine faults and thinking on the go.

Qualifications & experience

Flexibility and availability over a 7 day roster with mostly night shifts apart of the role.

Must have your own reliable transport and drivers licence.
