Job summary

Eastlake Football Club in Canberra is seeking a Full time Duty Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Kingston venue. You will lead a team, maintain service standards and coordinate across venues to meet operational needs.

The role requires demonstrated staff management experience in customer service, with a focus on professionalism, policy adherence and effective shift leadership. A rotating day/night roster is expected, with opportunities for formal qualifications and a supportive

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in a customer service environment and managing teams.
• Proven staff management experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to work across multiple venues and rotating roster.
• Understanding of licensed club industry (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the venue.
• Lead by example and ensure professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders.
• Address nonperformance issues and guide staff to follow policies and procedures.
• Oversee shift reporting and end-of-month procedures (EOM).
• Coordinate across venues to meet operational requirements.

We are seeking a Full time Duty Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will haveproven staff managementexperience in a customer service environment. Reporting to theVenue Manager, you will be required to manage the day to day operations of a venue.

This position will be based at our Kingston venue, however our employees work across venues and flexibility is required to meet operational requirements.

To be considered for this role it is essential you have:

A positive and proactive attitude

Demonstrated experience in leading, managing and training a team

Sound experience in managing multiple priorities

A focus on building rapport with your team and customers

Ability to take ownership of your venue and team when on shift

Capability and experience to lead by example and ensure professionalism in all interaction with stakeholders

Can guide staff to follow policies and procedures, and address nonperformance issues

Demonstrated experience in compliance related activities, undertaking shift reporting and EOM procedures

Understanding of the licensed club industry (desirable) and its offerings

We are looking for an individual who has had minimum of 2-3yrs experience in a customer service environment and managing teams.

Ability to work within a rotating roster, consisting of day/nights.
