Mineral Resources Limited is seeking a DTS Site Technician to deliver high‑quality onsite IT support at our Onslow site, reporting to the Superintendent – IT Infrastructure. The role operates on an 8D6X roster, flying from Perth, and focuses on strong customer service and timely issue resolution.

• Relevant tertiary technology qualification or industry certifications
• Experience with Windows desktop environment and Office 365
• Knowledge of networking including switching, routing, firewalls and wireless

• Experience with incident/problem/change management (ServiceNow)
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills

• Collaborate within the IT support team to resolve issues or deploy equipment remotely

The opportunity

As a DTS Site Technician, you will work closely with IT Operations and the Infrastructure team to deliver high-quality technical support, assist with the rollout of IT projects and maintain a strong focus on customer service and relationship building. This is a hands‑on role requiring problem‑solving skills, strong troubleshooting abilities and the capability to operate effectively in fast‑paced environments.

In this position, you will report directly to the Superintendent - IT Infrastructure, commencing on an 8D6X roster based at our Onslow site operation flying from Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support to end users across various regional locations
• Deliver excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving solutions for Windows desktop environments and Office 365 applications
• Work with networking technologies including switching, routing, firewalls and wireless systems
• Apply knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure
• Assist with virtualisation systems such as Hyper-V and VMware
• Manage incidents, requests, and problem resolution in ServiceNow
• Support the implementation and rollout of IT projects onsite
• Deliver professional and timely customer service with clear communication

What is required

• Relevant Tertiary Technology Qualification or Industry Certifications highly regarded
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Desktop Environment and Office 365
• Knowledge of networking including switching, routing, firewalls and wireless technologies
• Knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure
• Knowledge of virtualisation including Hyper-V or VMWare
• Experiencing in dealing issue, request and problem management, preferably in Service Now
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
