Job summary

MinRes is seeking a DTS Site Technician to join IT Operations and the Infrastructure team across regional WA locations. You’ll deliver hands-on technical support, assist with IT project rollouts and maintain a strong focus on customer service and relationship building in fast-paced environments.

You will work with Windows desktop environments, Exchange/AD/Azure, and virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), apply ITIL-style issue and request management in ServiceNow, and collaborate with the IT support

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary technology qualification or industry certifications
• Proficient with Windows desktop environments and Office 365
• Knowledge of networking (switching, routing, firewalls, wireless)
• Experience with MS Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure
• Virtualisation knowledge (Hyper‑V or VMware)
• Experience with ITIL-style incident, request and problem management, preferably ServiceNow
• Strong customer service, time management and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support to end users across regional locations
• Deliver troubleshooting and problem-solving for Windows desktop environments and Office 365
• Work with networking technologies including switching, routing, firewalls and wireless
• Apply knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure
• Assist with virtualization systems such as Hyper‑V and VMware
• Manage incidents, requests, and problem resolution in ServiceNow
• Support the implementation and rollout of IT projects onsite
• Deliver professional and timely customer service with clear communication
• Build and maintain strong relationships with end users
• Collaborate with IT support team to resolve issues or deploy equipment remotely

The Opportunity

As a DTS Site Technician, you will work closely with IT Operations and the Infrastructure team to deliver high‑quality technical support, assist with the rollout of IT projects and maintain a strong focus on customer service and relationship building. This is a hands‑on role requiring problem‑solving skills, strong troubleshooting abilities and the capability to operate effectively in fast‑paced environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support to end users across various regional locations
• Deliver excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving solutions for Windows desktop environments and Office 365 applications
• Work with networking technologies including switching, routing, firewalls and wireless systems
• Apply knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure
• Assist with virtualisation systems such as Hyper‑V and VMware
• Manage incidents, requests, and problem resolution in ServiceNow

What Is Required

• Relevant Tertiary Technology Qualification or Industry Certifications highly regarded
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Desktop Environment and Office 365

• Knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure
• Knowledge of virtualisation including Hyper‑V or VMWare
• Experiencing in dealing issue, request and problem management, preferably in Service Now
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
