Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a safety‑focused HR Driver to deliver and collect equipment across the region. You will support yard activities, ensure on-time arrivals, and maintain vehicle presentation while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates have an HR Driver’s Licence, VLC ticket (or willingness to obtain), and a professional, customer‑minded approach. You'll work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced operations environment.

Qualifications

• A current HR Driver's Licence is required.
• Vehicle Loading Crane (VLC) Ticket, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe driving practices.
• Experience in transport, equipment hire, construction, logistics, or related industry is preferred.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
• Loading and unloading equipment using appropriate lifting and restraint methods.
• Completing deliveries and pick-ups accurately and on schedule.
• Building positive relationships with customers through professional service.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, customers, and branch staff.
• Completing delivery dockets, paperwork, and transport documentation accurately.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining a high standard of vehicle presentation.
• Supporting yard and branch operations when not undertaking deliveries.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety, transport, and company procedures.
