Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
• Loading and unloading equipment using proper lifting methods.
• Completing deliveries and pick-ups on schedule.
• Maintaining professional relationships with customers through service.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, customers, and branch staff.
• Completing delivery dockets and transport paperwork accurately.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining vehicle presentation.
• Support yard and branch operations when not undertaking deliveries.
• Complying with safety, transport and company procedures.

About the Role We're looking for a safety-focused HR Driver to deliver and collect equipment for customers across the region. More than just a driving role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, ensuring equipment arrives safely, on time and ready for work. You'll also support yard activities and help keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
• Loading and unloading equipment using appropriate lifting and restraint methods.
• Completing deliveries and pick-ups accurately and on schedule.
• Building positive relationships with customers through professional service.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, customers, and branch staff.
• Completing delivery dockets, paperwork, and transport documentation accurately.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining a high standard of vehicle presentation.
• Supporting yard and branch operations when not undertaking deliveries.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety, transport, and company procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• You'll ideally bring: A current HR Driver\'s Licence.
• Vehicle Loading Crane (VLC) Ticket, or willingness to obtain one.
• A strong commitment to safety and safe driving practices.
• Previous experience in transport, equipment hire, construction, logistics, or a related industry.
