Job summary

Cancer Council NSW is seeking an Acquisition Lead to strategically direct the donor acquisition and regular giving portfolio. The role encompasses multi-channel campaigns across face-to-face, telemarketing, digital and mail, with a focus on growth, sustainability and compliance.

You will lead partnerships across states to expand regular giving and optimise performance and revenue. The position is a Full-Time, 12-month maternity leave contract with a flexible approach to working from home and

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading direct response fundraising or donor acquisition portfolios.
• Proven success delivering large-scale multi-channel acquisition programs.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and investment modelling skills.
• Experience managing agencies, suppliers and complex projects.
• Stakeholder management with CRM and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve supporter acquisition and regular giving growth strategy, annual plans, budgets, forecasts and investment decisions across the portfolio.
• Deliver and optimise regular giving programs across face-to-face, telemarketing, digital and conversion channels.
• Drive interstate expansion of regular giving with business cases, procurement and governance.
• Manage agency and supplier relationships with quality assurance and compliance.
• Monitor and optimise performance, budgets and channel mix for donor quality and revenue.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver data-driven and sustainable acquisition programs.
• Provide reporting and lead the team with a focus on accountability and safe work practices.
