genU is seeking caring Domestic Service Assistants to provide essential in-home support to older community members across Camperdown, Terang, Colac and Warrnambool. You’ll handle light cleaning, meal preparation and general assistance to help clients live safely at home.

This casual role offers weekday shifts in a values‑driven not‑for‑profit environment. You’ll need an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Orientation Module Certificate, Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR, a current driver’s

genU is looking for caring and energetic Domestic Service Assistants to provide essential in-home support to older community members, including household cleaning, meal preparation, and general assistance to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment. This role offers structured weekday shifts and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful outcomes within a values-driven not-for-profit organisation.

What you’ll do

As a Domestic Service Assistant, you’ll help people feel comfortable and supported in their own homes by providing:

• Light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Friendly support and companionship to brighten their day

What you’ll bring

• Strong communication skills and a reliable, professional approach
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Orientation Module Certificate and Working with Children Check - but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Current driver’s licence, reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance, and a mobile phone
• Basic computer skills for required admin tasks
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or Community Services
• Experience supporting people who are ageing, living with disability, or experiencing mental illness, including those with specific health needs (e.g. Dementia, Diabetes, Epilepsy) and from diverse cultural backgrounds (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and culturally and linguistically diverse groups)
