Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is seeking dedicated care professionals to provide in-home domestic and personal care services in Narromine NSW area. Your role includes assisting with daily tasks, cleaning, and supporting clients in a respectful, compassionate manner.

This casual contract offers an hourly rate with superannuation, travel time paid, and a modest kilometres allowance. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• Live in or near Narromine NSW with surrounding suburbs.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car.
• Personal care worker experience in an aged setting (paid).

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, medication assistance, and social supports such as transportation for clients.
• Be a friendly face and brighten someone's day.

Do you meet these minimum requirements?

• Live in or near Narromine NSW including surrounding suburbs
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept International licences or shared/rental vehicles)
• Have personal care worker industry experience in a paid Aged setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (weekend availability is a bonus but not required)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.
• Know this is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home

What this role offers:

• Casual Contract
• Hourly Rate: $32.61 - $36.23 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
• Most importantly: be a friendly face & brighten someone's day!
