Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking both entry-level and experienced carers to join our team in the Leeton NSW area. You will provide in-home domestic assistance and, for experienced carers, personal care services including showering, toileting, and medication assistance.

Travel for training is required and a two-week Brilliant @ Basics training is provided with pay. We offer permanent part-time hours (30 hours per fortnight plus flexible hours) with a competitive hourly rate and 12% superannuation,

Qualifications

• Live in Leeton NSW area including surrounding suburbs Narrandera – Darlington Point areas.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no International licenses or shared/rental vehicles).
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Entry-Level Carers: Provide domestic assistance such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Experienced Carers: Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, plus domestic duties and social supports (e.g. transportation) for clients.

Do you meet these minimum requirements?

• Live in Leeton NSW area including surrounding suburbs Narrandera – Darlington Point areas
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept International license's or shared/rental vehicles)
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday - but we are flexible for the right candidate!
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.

What this role offers:

• Hourly Rate: $32.61 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
