Job summary

Core Talent is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a leading Tier 1 subcontractor in Sydney. The role focuses on managing and controlling project documentation, ensuring accurate filing, distribution, and version control across the lifecycle.

You will support project managers and engineers, coordinate between clients, consultants and subcontractors, and help with audits and reporting. A background in construction document control and familiarity with DMS like Aconex or Procore is

Qualifications

• Experience in a Document Control role within construction or civil.
• Experience working on major projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage high volumes of documentation and competing priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Aconex, Procore or similar document management systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining project documentation and registers
• Controlling the distribution, review and approval of project documents
• Ensuring documentation is accurately filed and maintained
• Managing document workflows and version control
• Supporting Project Managers, Engineers and the wider project team
• Coordinating documentation between internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients
• Ensuring project records are maintained in line with company procedures
• Assisting with reporting, audits and general project administration as required
