Job summary

Symal Group in Victoria is delivering one of Australia's largest renewable energy projects, a Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage the project’s document control system, support engineering, construction and commercial teams, and engage with subcontractors and OEMs.

You will maintain versioned drawings, specifications, RFIs and transmittals in Procore or equivalent platforms, ensure accurate coding and traceability, and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated document control experience on utility-scale renewables or major infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Procore is essential; experience with Aconex/ProjectWise/SharePoint is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of document numbering conventions and version control.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project's document control system in Procore across solar, BESS, civil and HV works.
• Control and distribute drawings, specifications, RFIs and transmittals with audit trails.
• Maintain document registers, ensure accurate coding and retrieval, support close-out with as-built docs.
