Job summary

John Holland Group is seeking a Document Controller to join the Quality & Completions Team on the Sydney Metro West Linewide Project. You will work with other Document Controllers and report directly to the Document Manager, handling lot records, document exchanges, and ensuring branding and format compliance.

The role requires experience in major projects, a qualification in Business Administration or related discipline, and a minimum of 3 years in document control.

Qualifications

• Experience in a major project environment.
• Minimum 3 years' document control experience.
• Knowledge of project management systems and processes.
• Aconex experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile lot records, chase and close out missing information when required.
• Organise and track exchange of documents between clients, subcontractors and project office.
• Verify document submissions comply with project branding and format requirements.
• Manage distribution, collection and processing of documents per project guidelines.
• Store and file project and company records.
• Ensure submissions follow project document formats and requirements.
• Implement workflows and collate, issue and receive documents for design documentation approvals.
• Plan and record document flow to/from necessary parties including client and subcontractors.
• Record issues and track location of control documents and drawings.
• Ensure current versions are maintained and issued to required parties.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of documents.
• Perform duties per John Holland policies and procedures.
