Job summary

ACCIONA, a joint venture with Cobra, is seeking a Senior Document Controller to manage drawings, specifications, plans, procedures, and reports for a major rail/civil infrastructure project in Australia.

You will ensure documents are current, authorized, and traceable, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, maintain metadata and version control, and support project teams with system training and document governance.

Qualifications

• Organised and detail-oriented with clear communication.
• Proficient with MS Office and EDMS.
• Experience as Document Controller in civil construction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Control drawings, specifications, plans, procedures, and reports.
• Ensure documents are current, authorised, compliant, and accessible.
• Coordinate vendor and sub-contractor documentation and transmittals.
• Facilitate submission, review, and distribution of documentation with project teams.
• Maintain document metadata and version control for traceability.
• Record, check, and track incoming and outgoing project documents.
• Provide system support, software training, and guidance.
• Audit document management systems and records.
